With over 32 years of classroom excellence, I don’t just teach Chemistry—I help students master its logic. My journey as an educator is backed by a Master’s in Art and Teaching (MAT) and a dual certification in Biology and Chemistry. As a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), I have spent over three decades specializing in the rigors of Honors, Magnet, and AP Chemistry. My goal is to move beyond the frustration of memorizing formulas and to guide my students to understand the “why” behind the science.

What sets my tutoring apart is the bridge I build between the textbook and the real world. I have spent several summers conducting high-level research at prestigious institutions, including the National Institute of Health (NIH), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Towson University, and George Washington University. This “bench science” experience allows me to provide a sophisticated perspective that prepares students not just for their next exam, but for future careers in STEM.

I am also deeply committed to making science inclusive and accessible. I offer multilingual instruction in English, Spanish, French, and Creole, enabling me to support students navigating complex Honors or AP curricula in a second language.
